What Be the Pick is
If you never wanted an app to hold the pot, Be the Pick is built for you. Private leagues among people who know each other, college or NFL against the spread, lines frozen Tuesday at noon, live scoring on game day, and the buy-in tracked but never touched. Members play free; the commissioner pays one flat price a season above a small group.

Send us your roster
Names and emails, in a message or a spreadsheet. We set the league up by hand: competition, buy-in, sheet size, lock rule. Nothing to configure yourself.
Everyone gets a sign-in code
No passwords to hand out. Members sign in with a six-digit code by email and can install the site as an app on their phone.
Pick up from this week
Lines post Tuesday at noon Central. History from another site does not carry over; the season standings start from the week you join. Dues and payouts are tracked from day one.
Questions
Is Splash Sports gambling?
Splash describes it as peer-to-peer games of skill with no house stake; real-money contests are available only in some states and to adults. Be the Pick has no real-money mode at all, so none of that applies.
Can we keep our Splash contest history?
Not on Be the Pick. Standings here start from the week you join. Export whatever you want to keep from Splash before you leave.
Does Be the Pick handle money?
No. It tracks who has paid and who is owed, and it never holds or moves money. Real-money contests are exactly what we are not.
Is it against the spread only?
Yes, for now. Every game against the number, win 1, push ½, loss 0. Bowl pools, playoff brackets, Super Bowl squares and survivor are on the way this winter and next season.
Can we run both college and NFL?
Yes. Separate leagues on their own schedules, one sign-in, a switcher in the header.
What does it cost?
Members play free. Small groups are free; larger leagues pay one flat price per season, commissioner pays. The tiers are on the pricing page.
Can our old standings come across?
Not automatically. We can add a note about prior seasons to your league, but the standings and stats start from the week you join.
