Blue Chip Bet runs private college football and NFL pick'em leagues. This page says what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read.

What we collect

Account: your name as it appears on the standings, and your email address. Both come from your commissioner when you are added, or from you when you ask for a league.
Picks: every pick you make, when you made it, and how it scored. This is the product.
Chat: what you post in your league's room, including images you upload. Visible to your league only.
Dues: whether your commissioner has marked you as paid. We record the mark, not the money.
Sign-in activity: when you sign in, and failed attempts, so a commissioner can see who is locked out.
Notifications: if you turn them on, the push subscription for that device. Nothing else about the device.

What we use it for

Running your league: showing picks, standings, payouts and stats to the people in it; emailing you a sign-in code, a deadline reminder, or a reset link; and telling your commissioner who still owes picks. That is the whole list.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your information with anyone.
We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
We don't hold, move, or process money. Entry fees and payouts are between you and your league.
We don't show your picks to other members until the week has locked.

Who else touches it

A few services run the site on our behalf and see only what they need to: Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in; Vercel serves the pages; Resend delivers our email; CollegeFootballData supplies college schedules, spreads and scores and ESPN's public scoreboard supplies the NFL's; neither receives anything about you. Push notifications go through Apple and Google's services for your device.

Cookies

One, to keep you signed in. A second remembers your light or dark theme on the device. Neither is used for tracking.

Keeping and deleting it

Your picks and standings stay with the league's history. If you want your account and everything tied to it removed, ask your commissioner or contact us and it will be done within a few days. Chat posts can be deleted by you at any time.

Age

Leagues are private and invite-only. You must be old enough to take part in a pool where you live, and your commissioner is responsible for who they add.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above moves and members are told in the app.
